To make your experience at www.scettf.org more convenient, the SCETT Fund (“the Fund”) gathers certain information from you. The Fund makes every reasonable effort to protect the privacy of your information using security technologies and adheres to policies that prevent unauthorized use of your personal information.
What personal information do we collect, and how is it used?
If you communicate with the Fund by e-mail, through the Fund Website or otherwise, the Fund may retain your e-mail address and use it to send you future notices and messages relating to the Fund.
If, for any reason, you would like to be removed from any or all of our e-mail lists, you can simply state this desire in a reply to any e-mail we send you or by sending us an e-mail.
The Fund may also monitor and track information such as visitor usage patterns of the Fund’s Website. We compile this information into a statistical aggregate which we use for internal purposes including improving our web service and our e-mail service.
Protecting your privacy
The Fund does not sell or exchange names or any other personally identifiable information about our online visitors and members with mass marketers or any other organization outside of the Fund and its sponsoring organizations.
Tips on Protecting Your Password
Memorize your passwords. Do not write them down or share them with anyone. Do not re-use the same password with other online services. Change them regularly and use combinations of letters, numbers, and “special characters” such as @, %, & and #. Do not use your Social Security number as a username or password.
